There’s honestly nowhere quite like Scotland for an elopement. The landscapes here are absolutely unreal and no matter where you go, it feels cinematic, wild and romantic all at the same time. That’s what I love most about elopements here, they feel natural, relaxed and completely personal, without the pressure of a big traditional wedding.

Glencoe is easily one of the most incredible places in Scotland to elope. The scale of the mountains, the winding roads and the atmosphere there is just something special. One minute you can have soft mist rolling through the glen and the next you’re standing under the most beautiful golden light hitting the mountains. It’s perfect for couples who love adventure and want their wedding day to feel more like an experience together rather than just a schedule to follow. Every time I film in Glencoe it feels different, and that’s what makes it so special.

The Isle of Skye is another favourite for couples travelling to Scotland to elope. Skye honestly looks like something from a movie. Places like the Quiraing, the Old Man of Storr and the coastline around Elgol create some of the most breathtaking backdrops imaginable for a wedding film. Whether it’s standing on the edge of a cliff with the wind blowing through your dress or sharing a quiet moment beside the sea, there’s something incredibly emotional and intimate about eloping on Skye. It’s raw, beautiful and completely unforgettable.

What I love most about Scottish elopements is that no two days are ever the same. Every couple brings their own story and every location gives a completely different feeling.
